FARM ATTACK: Farmer severly
assaulted by the police... the very people South African citizens are supposed
to trust to protect and serve.
Mr.
van Dyk aged 64 years of Umkomaas district,
KwaZulu Natal, South Africa on Tuesday afternoon 2 June 2020, at 17:00.
Apparently around 20 heavily armed black police officers broke locks of two
gates’ and threw two stun grenades to confuse Mr van Dyk’s three Boerboel dogs.
The policemen, led by a Lt-Kol. Ngidi stormed Mr Van Dyk and proceeded to kick
him, assault him with clenched fists, and struck him with butts of R4 rifles.
His bruised and bloodied body is evidence of the vicious assault. Most of the
attackers had balaclavas on and hid their name tags.
This type of brutality on the part
of the South African Police Service (SAPS) is unacceptable at all levels. The
vulnerable white minority are seen to be purposely targetted by criminals and
now this is further accentuated under the influence of power-laden, officials
in uniform and in a postion of authority.
As at todays date, 10th July, 2020
no action has been taken against those responsible for this heinous crime and
once again typifies the attitude of the ruling ANC government.
