Two white sisters raped by black police officers in uniforms
Two white sisters raped by black police officers in uniforms at two seperate venues, Paulshof Johannesburg, Friday: 9 Dec 1am after leaving a party: http://www.eyewitnessnews.co.za/Story.aspx?Id=78902
PAULSHOF. EWN news journalist Mandy Wiener interviewed the two rape victims on Radio 702, publishing interview-clips at 7am. She reported that armed police officers - in uniform, in a marked van, had pulled over the two sisters after the women, aged 24 and 27, had left a party last Friday-night (DECEMBER 2 2011)_ at around 11pm. The officers in the van had pulled them over. The two sisters said they had had drinks but were not questioned nor tested - instead they were told to drive on. The two white sisters, aged 24 and 27, from Paulshof in Johannesburg, were then raped by organised groups of black men - one sister by uniformed Sandton police officers, and the other sister by police 'accomplices' who had come along with the police. The first rape occurred after the older woman had dropped off her sister. She was again pulled over by the SAME two black policemen who had pulled the two sisters over earlier after leaving the party. The older woman was raped by both men.
The younger one, realising she had left her house keys in the car, ran after the car. As she did, she was attacked by a group of young black guys who also were with the first two cops when they were stopped the first time. The younger sister also was raped. She told of her ordeal: "A young guy got out of the car first, pulled me down and raped me', she said, weeping during the interview with EWN journalist Mandy Wiener, 7am EWN news broadcoast: EWN also reported that two Sandton police officers, as yet unidentified, have been arrested. Eye Witness News on 702 at 07:00 on 09/11/11.http://www.ewn.co.za/#media
IT'S A WIDESPREAD PHENOMENON and started about two weeks ago: It is being reported countrywide that gangs of uniformed black police officers are ambushing people leaving from restaurants and Christmas parties, holding them up at gang-point and, as in this case, raping them. On Dec 2 2011, Mrs Catherina Faurie also reported a similar incident from Lichtenburg NW, when her son was assaulted on Friday-night by uniformed black police officers: he was stopped in a road block, forced to get out of his car, and brutally started beating and kicking him. The youth managed to get away and crawled into people;s gardens after he was pepper sprayed. The police searched for him but could not find him. He contacted his family who fetched him after his ordeal.

Afrikaans students in Stellenbosch again assaulted by aggressive SAPS: father Hans Wessels lodging charges:
Adriaan Snyman of Eblockwatch writes: Police have once again been accused of violent behaviour towards students and sociable young people in Stellenbosch. Two students who live in a flat near the Terrace pub in Alexander Street said they heard there was "trouble" in the early hours of Saturday morning and saw how about 15 police vans and other security vehicles “swarmed” over the parking area next to the Anglican Church on the Braak, across from the pub. Francois Lötter and SP von Schlicht took cellphone videos of the incident. “There was a fight between two guys from different racial groups after one guy shouted out a slur. Someone called over an ADT vehicle and suddenly it was just sirens and police wherever you looked. About five or six guys were arrested and thrown in police vans, even if they just wanted to explain what had happened.
The brutality with which police handled the people was unnecessary.” His flatmate, Von Schlicht, agreed: “It didn’t matter if you were a guy or a girl, everyone in the area was sprayed with pepper spray. Their eyes looked bad.” The video recording showed how one student was grabbed on his ankle and belt, dragged across the ground and was thrown hard against a police van twice. Similar incidents were reported a while back, including a raid four years ago that made headlines. Hans Wessels from Somerset West is lodging a civil case against the minister of police after his children suffered at the hands of the police last year.
“It looks like there is no order and authority in the senior ranks of Stellenbosch police. They are charged and subpoenaed, but the same thing happens again and again. “The place where they [students] should be protected, they fear, because polic e act like hooligans. A child in Stellenbosch should be able to seek refuge with law enforcers, but here it isn’t the case,” said Wessels. Lieutenant Colonel André Traut confirmed that “seven men between 19 and 21 years old were arrested for disorderly conduct between 00:40 and 01:15 on Saturday. They were released the same morning after being given admission of guilt fines.” Traut said “anyone who felt they had been treated unfairly was encouraged to lay an official charge with the local police station or with the Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD).” Kind Regards The eblockwatch team http://www.eblockwatch.co.za

Lawless cops cost SAPS over R106m a year
Nov 28 2011
Sowetan: Taxpayers to fork out R1.3m for Cele salary – and Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa has issued a stern warning about the ongoing lawsuits against "lawless police officers".
He said the "command, control and upholding of the constitutional principles should be intensified. Senior police management should immediately begin to tighten enforcement to curb lawlessness among officers.
"A total of R106239616.81 was paid in legal costs as a result of 8074 civil claims brought against the SAPS for the 2010-11 financial year.
An amount of R87.2-million was paid in lawsuits for false arrests, assaults and shootings during the 2009/2010 financial year. Payment of legal costs is not linked to a particular police station, but if an officer is sued for whatever act of misconduct, it is the state that suffers financially and we cannot allow such things to become the norm," Mthethwa said.
He said he believed that with stricter monitoring of police members' conduct there could be fewer lawsuits.
"Instead of paying legal costs, such amounts could be better utilised in other crucial programmes of the SAPS, including the building of new police stations in areas previously neglected," he said.
Mthethwa faces another lawsuit of R5-million from President Jacob Zuma's adviser Zizi Kodwa.
On Monday, Kodwa's lawyer, Gugulethu Madlanga, served papers on Mthethwa notifying him that Kodwa, whose real names are Ncediso Goodenough, intended suing.
Yesterday, Madlanga described the police's inaction to release Kodwa's blood sample results as "upsetting".
"I was expecting their response by Monday afternoon but I haven't received it," Madlanga said.
Gauteng police spokesman Colonel Katlego Mogale said his department was looking into the matter. Kodwa was arrested by two officers for suspected drunken driving on Sturdee Avenue in Rosebank, Johannesburg, about two weeks ago.
He appeared briefly in the Hillbrow Magistrate's Court and his case was postponed to March next year.

Fraud claims surrounding the leasing of the R1.67billion police headquarters in Pretoria – enquiry into role of suspended SAPS commissioner Bheki Cele
March 6 20-12
THE first day of the Bheki Cele inquiry heard that the controversial R1.67-billion police headquarters deal was fast-tracked “on assumption rather than instructions”. SAPS genl Hamilton Hlela – who claims that he was forced to resign by Cele -- gave testimony yesterday as a star-witness to back up Public Protector Mrs Thuli Madonsela's damning reports into these lease deals. Her investigation led to President Jacob Zuma suspending the SA police commissioner Cele in October last year and the establishing the current board of inquiry.
Yesterday, Hlela testified. The enquiry is chaired by judge Jake Moloi at the Pretoria Council Chambers in Pretoria, that Hlela ‘had made certain procurement decisions regarding the lease deals involving the Middestad building in Pretoria and the Transnet building in Durban -- “on the assumption that Cele wanted those specific buildings: allegedly Hlela had earlier claimed that “Cele had identified the "Middestad" building, introduced him to "property mogul" Roux Shabangu and instructed him to “fast-track the procurement of the buildings.” However yesterday’s testimony revealed that ‘Cele did not specifically mention the Middestad building as the preferred building to house the police top brass, nor did he instruct him to pursue a negotiated form of procurement which led to the buildings being leased at inflated rates. Instead, Cele had mentioned that ‘a building in central Pretoria had two floors which could be leased’. Genl. Hlela resigned from the police in 2010: claiming he had been forced to do so by Cele.

The "Hawks" are a second outfit which replaced the elite Scorpions police unit demolished by aggressive ANC "Parlimentarians" because, as was the talk of the town, they uncovered and bust lots of ANC corruption. Because the Scorpions were said to be persisting in the arms deal investigation they were quickly dismembered by the ANC in favour of the ANC's "Hawks". I have heard of them discribed as "toothless bulldogs", and lackeys of the ANC?

Our useless police: Cop marks road with assault rifle

How’s this ou?

Useless cop arrived at an accident scene and had no chalk or spray paint to mark out the situation. What did he do? He took his R5-rifle and scratched the tarmac with the barrel.
And on top of it he is a captain!
Hey? No more respect for your service weapon. Plenty where they come from. Taxpayer pays so why must the police give a toss? Makes you wonder what they teach these idiots on their training.
Pity he had the safety on and a shot didn’t go off. I would have loved to see a ricochet hit him right between the eyes. Useless bastard.

Afrikaner woman had to pose naked for cops
Tuesday, 9 August 2011

Afrikaner marketing-consultant Marina Kloppers, 23, was forced to strip naked so that two black cops could photograph her with their cellphones. When asked why, they said: ‘Tonight I am God'. Afrikaner marketing-consultant Marina Kloppers, 23, has placed charges of assault and indecent assault against two black cops from Pretoria West police for forcing her to strip down naked and taking pictures of her on their cellphones on July 21 2011 at 2am. They then took her and a friend Charise de Witt, 22, to the Laudium clinic for blood-tests – where she was forced to strip naked and photographed by the two male cops. She was never charged for anything but they then threw her into a police-cell at the Pretoria West police station, where she lapsed into a diabetic coma and had to be rushed by her father Willem to Eugene Marais Hospital to save her life. http://www.beeld.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/Polisie-neem-my-kaal-af-20110809
Journalist Gerhard Pretorius of Beeld daily interviewed Ms Kloppers and her father after her ordeal. Her father Willem, acting sports-head of Pretoria University of Technology, had to rush his daughter from a police-cell where she had collapsed into a diabetic coma.
Her ordeal started Ms Kloppers was pulled over by a police-car with two officers while she was driving with her friend Ms De Wit in Mayville, Pretoria at 2am. White South African women are often pulled over and molested by blacks when they are driving, including by police officers: so Ms Kloppers was so terrified when she saw the police-car following them that she wouldn't stop at a red traffic light; The cops tried to force the women's car off the road - and while they were driving alongside her, she asked through her window if they could drive to a safer place. She drove to a friend's house and as she stopped in front of it, the two cops yanked the attractive blonde woman to the ground and dragged her across the tar-road. They then sat on top of her to handcuff her.
She and Ms De Wit were dumped in the rear of the police-van and driven around for two hours. The two women were then taken to the Laudium clinic for blood-tests. Even the passenger Ms De Wit was forced to give blood by the nurse. Ms Kloppers then told the nurse that the two police officers had assaulted her during the arrest. The nurse then called in the black cops while Ms Kloppers was in her underclothes and the two men then demanded that she strip down entirely “so that they could photograph her injuries”. Then they took photographs of her entire body with their cameras. "I will never forget this for the rest of my life,' she told Pretorius. Ms Kloppers then was rushed to the Pretoria West police station in the back of the police-van and thrown into a police-cell.
Her father Willem Kloppers - the acting sports-head of the Pretoria University of Technology and friends then arrived to try and get her out. Ms Kloppers and her friends and family were afraid that she would be raped – as happened to many women in SA police-cells late at night. Initially her father was however denied access to his daughter: by the time they were given access to her, she had lapsed into a diabetic coma. Mr Kloppers then rushed to the Eugène Marais-hospital to get her medicine and administered it in the police-cell but she failed to respond: she remained in coma. A constable then told the father to rather take his daughter away- that he would take personal responsibility if anybody asked questions..
She was never charged with any crime. She was rushed to Eugene Marais hospital by her dad - where she was helped to recover from the coma. Ms Kloppers now is undergoing psychologic counselling, and has been given anti-depressants, fear-suppressants and sleeping pills. "In the daytime I am fine, but at night in the dark I keep reliving this. I will never trust a policeman ever again,' she said.
She was terrified that she would be raped. Her father said he could not understand how anyone can do such a thing to any woman.
Warrant-officer Annabel Middelton confirmed that a case of assault and indecent assault was placed at the Brooklyn police station against the two police members Station commander Brig. André Wiese also confirmed that 'from my side I will do everything possible to have this investigated correctly.'

NB! Notice how this reporter uses the term two police members. This was a racist sexual assault against a white woman by state appointed thugs. As if we don’t know what the reporter means by the term members.

Relief as alleged blue light gangsters are arrested
April 27, 2010 by Capo
Community members of the Silver Lakes area, in Pretoria, on Monday welcomed the arrest of two police officials and three of their alleged accomplices, in what is believed to be a blue light gang.
The group was found in possession of several firearms, police uniforms, stun grenades and specialised equipment used by the National Intervention Unit. The gang operated from a security complex near the Silver Lakes Golf Estate.
The manager of the complex Gerrie van der Merwe said it was worrying that the operation was ran from the property.
“It is quite comforting to everyone to know that the suspects were actually caught,” said van der Merwe.
Silver Lakes Security trustee Jan Botha said the officers made the arrests did a sterling job.
“I am so proud of the police and what they have achieved. We will support them all the way,” said Botha.
Investigators were now trying to link the group to several armed robberies and hijackings in and around the capital.

South Africa's police chief, his friend the murder suspect, and the crime syndicate
Commissioner, who also heads Interpol, is under suspicion of corruption

South Africa's national police commissioner, Jackie Selebi, is under investigation after it was revealed that he maintained a close friendship with an organised crime boss recently arrested over the murder of a corrupt mining magnate.
The revelation follows a damning series of accusations against the national police commissioner, who is also president of the international police organisation, Interpol. They include a 144-page dossier submitted to detectives by a former British military intelligence agent who accuses Mr Selebi of "wining and dining the mafia set" and of protecting criminal interests.
South African officials have hinted at a plot by British intelligence against the police chief, but Mr Selebi is also under investigation by the Scorpions, the South African agency that investigates organised crime.
The latest controversy centres on the murder of Brett Kebble, a corrupt South African mining magnate who was shot six times in his Mercedes last year by a team of assassins. The motive is not yet known but Kebble stole millions of pounds from his mining companies and had close ties to criminal syndicates.
Murder arrest
On November 16 the Scorpions arrested Glen Agliotti, a man described in police files as the head of a multimillion pound drug syndicate and other organised crime rackets, for allegedly organising the murder. Mr Agliotti not only worked for Kebble but is a longstanding friend of Mr Selebi. They were so close that within minutes of Kebble's death Mr Agliotti called the police commissioner on his mobile phone. Both men say there was nothing sinister about their conversation.
Mr Selebi said Mr Agliotti had driven to the site of the killing while Kebble was still slumped behind the wheel of his car and then called the police commissioner to request an investigation.
Mr Agliotti has been described in court by the Scorpions as one of "the syndicate bosses who tend not to get their hands dirty, but manage their enterprises from a distance".
For months, Mr Selebi denied anything more than a casual acquaintance with the crime boss. But days before Mr Agliotti's arrest, the Johannesburg newspaper the Sunday Times reported that the Scorpions had seized a diary in which Mr Agliotti detailed regular meetings with the police commissioner.
Mr Selebi said his meetings with Mr Agliotti proved nothing.
"Does that mean anyone who has an appointment with him is a criminal?" he said. "I have never been in discussion with him about criminality. I do not know if he is involved ... He would never be involved in any sort of crime in my presence."
But Mr Selebi's claims not to have known that Mr Agliotti was a leading figure in the criminal underworld have met with incredulity since his rackets were the subject of police investigations.
Questions about the handling of the Kebble murder investigation had already been raised after it was revealed that the police handed over the dead man's car to the head of his security firm, Clint Nassif, immediately after the murder and before forensic tests could be done. The car was then cleaned, destroying crucial evidence. Mr Nassif is a close friend of Mr Agliotti and was recently arrested on fraud charges.
The Scorpions have for months quietly pursued an investigation that has included scrutiny of Mr Selebi's alleged ties to underworld figures, and many of the accusations against him would not have been made public if it were not for an embittered former British military intelligence agent, Paul O'Sullivan, who has lived in South Africa for 16 years.
He spent three years gathering the material submitted to the Scorpions this month that he claims is "evidence of a massive criminal syndicate, with tentacles into and out of Selebi's office".
Mr O'Sullivan accuses the police commissioner of "wining and dining the mafia set of Johannesburg", including Mr Agliotti. "That Selebi is a personal friend of the leader of that syndicate, which appears to have trafficked over 1bn rand in three years, says a lot about who he keeps company with," he said.
Infiltration
Mr O'Sullivan said he provided some of the information used by the Scorpions to arrest Mr Agliotti. "This Kebble fellow gets murdered at a time when I happen to be infiltrating the Agliotti mafia empire. I was infiltrating because I wanted to find out the links between this mafia and Selebi and along the way I found out who murdered Kebble and I took it to the Scorpions," he said.
Mr O'Sullivan began his pursuit of the police commissioner because he says Mr Selebi was responsible for his sacking as head of security for South Africa's airports in 2003. The former British spy says that he incurred the police chief's wrath by cancelling the contract of an airport security firm, Khuselani, because it was corruptly awarded and the company was risking the lives of passengers through incompetence.
Mr O'Sullivan claimed he uncovered fraud by the security company but was instructed by Mr Selebi's office and his superiors at the airports company to keep quiet about it. Instead he went to the Scorpions and Khuselani's chief executive was jailed. A few months later, Mr O'Sullivan was sacked. He accuses Mr Selebi of conspiring with airport officials to get rid of him.
South African officials have said that Mr O'Sullivan worked for M16 or MI5, and that he may still do so. The former agent, who was born in Ireland but has taken British and South African citizenship, denies he was ever employed by either organisation but is evasive about his past. He says only that he served in British military intelligence in the 1970s.
"I was in the British military, in military intelligence, but all of that is covered by the Official Secrets Act. You can appreciate my position as an Irish citizen working for the British. Someone might want to put a bullet in me so I don't want to discuss it," he said.
Mr Selebi has vigorously denied the allegations against him and accused Mr O'Sullivan of a "smear campaign". For a while the police commissioner fought back against the accusations, calling a press conference to deny a report in a Johannesburg newspaper that he had accepted a 50,000 rand (about £3,600) bribe from Mr Nassif. "Fifty thousand rand is a small amount for me. I would not be so cheap," he said.
But as further accusations were levelled, including allegations that he indeed did not come so cheap, Mr Selebi went to ground and said he would not respond any more.
Call for inquiry
Tony Leon, leader of the opposition in the South African parliament, has called for Mr Selebi to be suspended and for an official inquiry because of the "thickening cloud of suspicion" over his links to Mr Agliotti. He said that this "tawdry" scandal was eating away at confidence in the criminal justice system at home and abroad because Mr Selebi heads Interpol. "A number of senior police officials are reportedly desperate for Selebi to stand down, given the damage allegations against him are doing to the image of the police," he said.
But the safety and security minister, Charles Nqakula, said he had no plans to take action against Mr Selebi. "It will only be on the basis of concrete evidence that we will be able to do anything ... in the absence of that we are not going to do witch-hunting," he said.
President Thabo Mbeki told a group of religious leaders who expressed concern to trust him to take action if there had been wrongdoing.
