Polokwane
- Two police stations in Limpopo are in the dark after their electricity was
cut off due to non-payment of services.
Makhado
police station and the Supply Chain Services in Polokwane have been without
power for days, the Times reported.
The
department of public works has been blamed for failing to pay the electricity
bill.
The
Limpopo police headquarters may be next to face a power cut.
Officers
at the Makhado police station were reportedly using use gas lamps.
The
problem appeared to be an administrative issue between police management and
the public works department.
Officials
said they were working on resolving the matter.
