Cop arrested for theft

THREE suspects, including an Alberton police
station constable, have been arrested for the theft of a safe from the police
station on March 22.
Lieutenant-Colonel
Lungelo Dlamini said the trio appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate's Court
yesterday. Their next appearance is on April 18.
Gauteng
commissioner Lieutenant-General Mzwandile Petros has also suspended five other
officers from the same police station for poor management and
maladministration.
