Police officer shoots girlfriend then himself Published: 2013 December 24 07:20:15 Warrant Officer Sachs Tlhowe Mothowagae based at the Mahikeng Organised Crime unit shot his 42-year-old girlfriend and then himself in South Africa.He was found alive inside a car at his sister's house in Welbedacht township near Zeerust but had apparently wounded himself through his mouth.He was taken to hospital where he later died.Earlier that morning, Mothowagae had reportedly gone to his 42-year-old girlfriend's house where they were last seen walking outside the house.A passer-by later found the woman who had been shot behind her right ear. - SAPA –
