Police to pay damages for police brutality
The Citizen reported that the Minister of Police has
admitted that theministry had been found liable for damages in respect of an
incident involving police brutality. The victim was reportedlykicked, punched
and slapped and thrown into the back of a police van in 2008 and was reportedly
in hospital for ten days
