Hundreds of calls to the
police’s 10111 number in Cape Town are not being recorded or logged because of
faulty equipment.
The calls were, however,
being responded to, said Western Cape police. The problems at the call centre
did not hamper the taking of emergency calls nor the dispatching of police.
