JOHANNESBURG - The Independent Police
Investigative Directorate has issued a warning statement against the Acting
National Police Commissioner Khomotso Phahlane.
It is not clear at this stage what the
investigation entails, but it is linked to a probe into his property at an
upmarket estate in Pretoria.
Phahlane is believed to have told a witness
not to cooperate with IPID investigators, while trying to establish how the
acting police head could afford the property, which is rumoured to be worth
R8-million.
