Members of the National Union of Metal Workers of SA (Numsa) in KwaZulu-Natal will march in protest against police brutality.
Numsa is marching against police brutality and the department of labour's failure to respond effectively to the appalling conditions faced by the workers in the province, regional secretary Mbuso Ngubane says.
Ngubane and the Congress of SA Trade Unions' acting provincial chairman Basil Cele will lead the march from Lahee Park in Pinetown to the police station.
A memorandum of demands will be handed to the SA Police Service and the labour department, Ngubane says.
