Boksburg prison officer accused of lashing 10yo Afrikaans child with belt was
arrested on December 17 2013 and arraigned at the Vosloorust magistrate's court
on a charge of assault. This happened only after the community launched an
internet 'naming and shaming' campaign highlighting his 'allegedl' deeds forced
the police 's independent directorate to intervene. Goiod news all around: he
