Vehicle hijackings in Gauteng have decreased from 25 to 16 a day. Provincial police commissioner Mzwandile Petros says it is a significant reduction and police do not plan to change their crime-fighting strategy.
Gauteng hijackings down

Really?...Well I never…Who would have thought it possible?

Probably only liberals and ANC apologists who believe this junk.

Let me remind them of how Mzwandile Petros, when he was police commissioner of the Western Cape gave direct orders to falsify a drunken driving docket of ANC former chief whip, Tony Yengeni.
Orders to falsify a Toni Yengeni drunken driving docket came from Western Cape police commissioner Mzwandile Petros, the Parow Regional Court heard on Thursday

Shocking report of how the Western Cape police under Commisioner Mzwandile Petros falsified crime and logged rape cases as “enquiries”

And look at
another shocking report on how they falsify murder statistics in South Africa…of how a filing cabinet with about a hundred post mortem reports of murders and other unnatural deaths which were not referred to the police for investigation, was discovered at the Salt River mortuary in Cape Town. Again our friend Petros was involved.

Petros knew about it for a year and preferred to keep quiet until the lie could not be covered up any longer. Petros at the time was heading a task team that was conducting a countrywide investigation into the validity of crime statistics, particularly with regard to inquest and murder dockets.

See how easy it is to bring car hi-jackings down from 25 a day to 16 a day? You just appoint the right man, like Petros. Talk about making a wolf the shepherd.
