 Senior Johannesburg cop released on bail

Johannesburg - A senior Johannesburg policeman accused of making bomb threats and intimidating other officers was released on R10 000 bail by the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate's Court, Gauteng police said on Friday.
"He [Major General Michael Mohlala] applied for an urgent bail application yesterday [Thursday] and was released," said Lieutenant Colonel TshisikhaweNdou.
"It's unclear at this point when the case was postponed to."
The court was unable to provide a date, or further information.
The city's cluster commander was arrested in the Vaal Triangle last week.
