Galeshewe: Cops appear for attempted murder and theft
17:18 (GMT+2), Thu, 02 April 2015

Galeshewe - Two police constables have appeared briefly in the Galeshewe Magistrate's Court in Kimberley.
Tshidiso Bodigelo and Makwadi Mashalane are facing charges of theft and attempted murder. It's alleged that they went to the house of a Nigerian national and informed him that they were looking for drugs, but they could not find any.

After the police officers left, the complainant alleged that his cell phone and wallet were missing. Later that same afternoon, he realized that there were two withdrawals from his account. The man then opened a case against the two.
It is further alleged that on the same day the officers drove into the complainant while he was riding his bicycle. He sustained slight bruises to his legs.
The suspects have been remanded in custody.
Their case has been postponed to April 9 for a formal bail application.
