Cops, security guards held hostage in

Johannesburg - Two South African Police Service (SAPS) officers
and some security guards were taken hostage in a townhouse complex east of
Pretoria on Wednesday, police said.

“Currently we are standing off at a hostage situation. We can
confirm at this stage that there are two members of the SAPS as well as
security officers being held hostage by an unknown person within the complex,”
police spokesperson Captain Dave Miller said.
