VIP protection officer in court for family murder

PRETORIA – A VIP protection officer,
who allegedly shot and killed his wife and daughter over the
weekend, will appear in the Pretoria Central Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The 46-year-old works at the Pretoria protection unit at the Union Buildings.

The incident took place on Saturday night
at the family's home in Pretoria West.
He was arrested after turning himself in to
police.
The
Independent Police Investigative Directorate is investigating.
