Johannesburg - A traffic officer was arrested
for allegedly stopping motorists and demanding bribes in the Emfuleni
municipality, in the Vaal, on Friday morning, the Road Traffic Management
Corporation said.
The organisation's anti-corruption unit
caught him, spokesperson Simon Zwane said.
He could not provide further details, such as
what road he was caught on, or how much money he had already collected.
According to a photograph supplied, he had pocketed at least R500.
