Cop appears for
stealing meat, liquor

Johannesburg - A police constable accused of stealing meat and liquor
from a trading store has appeared in the Scottburgh Magistrate's Court on
Monday, KwaZulu-Natal police said.
The case was postponed to 21 January for a
bail application, police spokesperson Thulani Zwane said.
The constable was arrested last Saturday
at his home in Amandawe.
The shop was burgled last Friday night.
The constable allegedly led police to a
house in Umzinto where more stolen goods were found.
