Johannesburg - A policeman has been arrested
for drunken driving in Willowmore, in the Eastern Cape, police said on
Thursday.
Police saw him driving recklessly on
Wednesday night, said Captain Ernest Sigobe. They followed him and pulled him
over.
"They realised he was driving under the
influence of alcohol and took him to the police station," Sigobe said.
The 48-year-old policeman, who was driving
his own car, was expected to face a drunken driving charge in the Willowmore
Magistrate's Court on Friday.
