Prisoners stranded in Poort Road

Police were transporting prisoners to jail when the truck broke down

A police truck carrying prisoners has broken down in Poort Road.

The vehicle was transporting prisoners to Correctional Services in Malcolm Road when it stopped going. The police truck is from Ekuvukeni SAPS, but police on scene were unwilling to comment or give any further information.
