Cops charged with stealing R60,000 worth of beer
UPDATE (Feb 18, 2011): Eight cops—one female, the rest male—appeared in the Potchefstroom Magistrate’s court yesterday charged with stealing R60,000 worth of beer off a truck. And a Limpopo police captain and constable were arrested and charged with accepting a bribe and illegally handing a firearm back to the man it was confiscated from and who was in 2005 declared unfit to ever possess a firearm again.
