Metro cop under investigation for deadly shooting

The officer allegedly shot and killed a man in Dobsonville and wounded another.

JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg Metropolitan Police have launched an internal investigation into a deadly shooting involving one of their own.
The officer allegedly shot and killed a man in Dobsonville in Soweto and wounded another.
Police say he was off duty at the time.
The police's Kay Makhubela says the officer claimed he acted in self defence.
“Yesterday morning, two men were standing with a girl in Dobsonville then the traffic officer approached them, he wanted to talk to the girl, they refused him. A quarrel started, the officer took out a gun and shot at them.”
