A police captain who allegedly took part – in full
uniform – in a business robbery in Sunnyside has been arrested, police said on
Friday.
Police spokeswoman Captain Pinky Tsinyane said that
the cop, aged 56, was arrested along with two others, after a group of five
people robbed a shop in the Pretoria suburb.
“Apparently he was in uniform,” said Tsinyane.
She said the police captain will appear in court
soon on charges of business robbery.
