Cape Town - Two men, including a policeman, were arrested for drag-racing in Parow, Cape Town traffic officials said on Friday.
Traffic services spokeswoman Maxine Jordaan said the two disrupted traffic flow and travelled at excessive speeds on Tuesday.
“City traffic officers gave chase and managed to stop both (of) them.”
The policeman denied he had been racing, while the other motorist pleaded with officials to give him a fine instead.
“They were both arrested and would face charges of reckless driving when they appear in the Parow Magistrate's Court soon,” said Jordaan. - Sapa
