Okah's wife accuses police of murder

The wife of terror accused Henry Okah on Sunday accused the living in her Turffontein house. Azuka Okah said she owns the semi-detached house but rented it to what she calls a "quiet, respectable man from Nigeria".

She said witnesses told her masked police broke into the house on Saturday and assaulted people inside. The Nigerian man allegedly died after his hands and feet were tied and his head was dunked in water.

Okah said officers did not take statements from witnesses.
The Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD) is investigating if police were responsible for the man's death."We would be interviewing more witness if they do come up and we are investigation a case of possible death as a result of police action," said the ICD's Tiyani Sambo.

Cocaine, ammunition and a pistol were found in the house during the police raid and residents confirmed the area is known to be a hub of drug activity. It is believed police had been tipped off about the Nigerian's alleged involvement in drug dealing.
