A man shot dead his wife before killing
himself at the Parkview police station in Johannesburg on Tuesday morning.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant-Colonel Lungelo Dlamini says it is alleged that the victims came to the client service centre in connection with a domestic violence dispute.
He says while they were busy with the domestic violence forms, the 47-year old man went out of the centre to fetch his reading glasses.
Dlamini says he suddenly came back and shot his 45-year old wife in the upper body.
He says while police officers were trying to disarm him, he shot himself in the upper body.
Dlamini says the circumstances surrounding the shooting are being investigated.
