Cop gun allegedly used by thugs!

There was an attempted robbery at a cosmetics shop in Kroonstad in which one suspect was arrested and three managed to flee.

The suspect was found in possession of a gun that is registered in the name of his wife – a cop!

The police started an investigation, leading to four more suspects being bust in possession of police equipment.

Captain Stephen Thakeng said: “Cops followed up information and were led to Ikageng, outside Potchefstroom in the North West.
