South African Police Service are Rapists

On 24 November 2009, the Independent Online reported the appearance of a policeman accused of rape. The officer (40) was based at Mthatha Central Police Station in the Eastern Cape. He allegedly took a woman prisoner awaiting trial out of her cell and raped her in one of the offices at the police station.
